This service is made possible through two shared 10 Gbit connections from SUNET. As a member of SHS, you are entitled to various benefits, with the internet connection being one of the most significant. However, it is crucial to remember that you membership fee covers the cost of the membership itself, and not the internet service. The internet service is a benefit of being a member of SHS.
What is SHS?
Studentnätet vid Högskolan i Skövde is a non-profit organization, created and managed by students - for students. With over 800 members, SHS is one of the largest student organizations in Skövde. It is important to note that SHS operates independendtly and is not affiliated with either the Student Union (Studentkåren (SiS)) or the university itself.
